Activities

JJ Palms is a strong advocate of making residents feel more at home, more confident, and more involved in their surroundings by offering engaging daily life activities. The following is what you should anticipate from us:

How Activities Are Planned

• Activities are kept short - no longer than 30 minutes - since longer sessions can be tiring or hard to follow, especially for those with ]memory concerns.
• Time is also set aside for rest, drinks, and quiet moments.
• Separate spaces are available for those who choose not to take part.

Why Activities Matter

We select activities that:
• Replace hobbies or tasks residents may no longer be able to do
• Support confidence and pride
• Keep current skills active without needing to learn something new
• Offer fun, connection, and comfort
• Are matched to each resident’s background, interests, and life history
